My sister finally left for Africa, along with my dad as a flight companion. Everything worked out perfectly as far as i have heard. They are now in Burundi, helping out. My dad is able to tend to all the manly projects that need tending to until he has to return to us, which will be about a week and an half. Makenzie, from what ive heard, is having a blast helping out over there. But she's still adjusting to the 7 hour time difference.
But the only problem is, I miss them :] I can't wait till my dad gets home. And i'm looking forward to when Kenzie is coming home in four months. Just pray for their safety, and that they will be a huge blessing.
This past Friday night i got to help out with a kids Awana lock-in at my friends church. IT. WAS. SO. CRAZY!! I invited my own church friend to come along too, which was a smart move giving how many kids needed attention. We helped with keeping them entertained, playing games, calming them down to eat and watch a movie, and finally, making them sleep (which i couldn't help much with- they were too hyped up :) The kids there were so adorible. My heart melted :]
Its just that, now i'm super-duper sore and tired. I had gotten a blister on my nose Friday morning because of an allergic reaction(idk of what), so i took a benadryl to calm it down but that made me tired, and i couldn't be since i had to help out little kiddies, so i drank TWO red bulls (an energy drink) to hype me up.....it worked :] So friday night i was all over the place chasing kids, throwing balls, giving piggy-back rides, annnnd soo much more.
Then on saterday we (my friend and i) were dropped off at my house to hang out after the lock-in. We had another sleepover. hahaha....yeahh. but it was lazy one since we were so worn down.
So now im sitting on the couch trying not to be drowsy. Not working.
OHHHH and also on friday i got the second and third hunger games books in the mail!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!! I'm halfway through the second. I cant wait to find out what happens :]

Just a random blog post :]
Six more days until my beloved sister leaves to go out of country! So exciting. I would be jumping off the walls if i was her :]
Lately life has gone well. Nice weather, good friends, and awesome time with my family. Ive gotten to go on quite a few runs recently! soooo nice! except its super hard to push myself to go. im badly out of shape. BUT one thing that will push me faster towards the goal of heatlhiness, is that my youth group is doing a challenge called the "leap of faith" where we have to do 1500 pushups, 1500 crunches, 15 miles, memorize phillipians 3, and hand out two tracts everyday, ALL in 15 days. Then we get a t-shirt for completing the challenge. But idk if i can do it :p im gonna try though.
Ive still been practicing a lot of guitar...hopefully im improving! :p But the sad thing is, i only know like, three songs...so they get tiring after awhile...TIME TO LEARN MORE!!!! its inda hard though. Im still looking forward to this summer when i can take lessons.

Africa???? AHHHH
Bonjourrr!!
So My sister, Makenzie, IS GOING TO BURUNDI, AFRICA!!! AHH! Its so exciting! :D I mean, I don't want her to leave...ill miss her..BUT I'M SO JEALOUS!! I wish i could go with her :] anyways..the whole reason she's going is to serve God by helping children in the Rainbow Center.
I just wish she was going to New Zealand.....then i would defiantly hide in her suitcase.
Quiz team is going well.....but i haven't memorized any more verses. I'm so lazy. blaaah.
I WENT ON A LONG RUN TODAY!!!! well, not that long...but YAAAY anyway. Its a start. I've been meaning to go, but i kept putting it off. Hopefully i'll get into better shape soon.
I, have been playing more guitar recently. It's so much fun! Once you get started playing its sooooooo hard to stop :] I'm not very good, but i hope to be. I'm looking forward to guitar lessons maybe.

THE GIANTS WON THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!
Last night, after i had gotten home from church, i was able to watch the last quarter of the super bowl. At first, i didn't really know which team to go for, so i just watched, trying to figure football out....but as the game went on, i decided i would pull for the giants -WHO WERE AWESOME! :D
Last night was actually the first time i kinda understood football, but i still have much to learn.
I'm on a bible quiz team at my church this year. We have to study all the parables in Matthew.....which isn't that hard....but memorizing all of them..well, that's a little difficult. I had memorized Matthew 18:21-35 for the quiz meet on Sunday....but they didn't have me say any of them......
End of that subject :p
I'm gonna cut it short.

Long time, No Blogging.
Heyyy! It's been a while since I've last blogged!
Recently, I bought the first "Hunger Games" book. IT IS SO AMAZING!
Last night i started reading it, and read a good couple of chapters. after awhile I knew I should put it down and go to bed because it was getting late. BUT I COULDN'T! My eyes were glued to it, reading page after page. I kept telling myself, "it's okay, I'll just finish this chapter, and then go to sleep." But I still read on.
Finally i forced myself to close the book and get some rest. That was so hard.
Tonight I'm going to finish the book.
ANNNDD then i'm going to Barnes and Noble and buying the second book.
I just finished a paper on "Stoicism and Epicurean Philosophy." Actually it was quite interesting, i thoroughly enjoyed it. You see, Paul was in Athens, Greece while the Stoic and Epicurean philosophies were still going on. It makes me see Paul the Apostle in a whole different light. He was so smart....and brave. He used the Stoics and Epicureans current thoughts and ideas on life to witness to them about God.
Paul had carried his message to a world with a multitude of religious beliefs, and the message he proclaimed showed its power over the Stoics and Epicureans. He moved from God's nature to the history of creation, and then on to the human quandary. And then he challenged their beliefs, their gods, and religious opinions.
So that got me thinking, as we look at our culture with its increasingly pluralistic religious spectrum, we must remember that we, too, carry the same gospel with the same power. God is our Father.
Welll, now im getting tired. So i'll blog again soon :]

No phone, No Mcdonalds
HELLO BLOGGY!!!!
Guess what i did......I GOT RID OF MY PHONE!!!! Well, temporarily. I decided i wouldn't pay this months twenty-five dollar phone bill.
This means no constant texting every day.
I'm giving myself a month to see if i actually miss my phone. Annnnd I want to buy High School Musical 2. After buying the first one on sale for five bucks and watching it three times, i want the second.
I'm so proud of myself. Not about the High School Musical, though i am happy about that. But about the not using my phone for a WHOLE month.
hahahaha.....yeahh....
So i had another weird dream last night. I dreamed i had to marry the son, of the man, who invented Mcdonalds....
EEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
I seriously was grossed out in this dream. I was begging my dad to let me NOT marry this guy. My sweet wonderful father obeyed my wish, but he said i had to wait until the wedding day to not marry him.
My mood lightened slightly after i heard that. But i still wasn't happy about it.The whole reason i was engaged to this Mcdonalds boy, was because he was rich.....and my dad wanted to get some money out of him. I was all for it then.
The boy turned out to be a complete geek who adored me. hahaha so i got a HUGE engagement ring. IT WAS SOOOO PRETTY!!! but i still didn't want to marry the guy.
......His mom was fat, and i had to straighten her hair all the time. So annoying
This was a very long dream if you hadn't noticed. Anyways turns out i jump off a cliff running away from these Mcdonalds people, and i survive.
True dream story.
I wrote this all out to you. For no reason. Other than to waste space on this blog. Annnnd to let you know I'm never marring some rich Mcdonalds kid.

ITS DAY TWO!!!!
yep. this means i havent forgotten about you. i remembered quite well actually.
Sooo today was very slow. i basically did nothing. i woke up, ate lunch, annnnd then went on a two mile run. After sitting for quite a few hours watching youtube videos made by the amazing Rhett and Link, i got bored.
pretty lame.
But then my wonderful mom, and my amazing sister got home. That made my boredom vanish :].
family is the best. They can cure anything.
TOMORROW i wont be a lame-o hippie. After going to chruch ill be going to the mall with some buddys :].
ummm
I'm thinking about getting rid of my phone. It's such a distraction. like, when i get lots of texts, i cant look away, and im just sitting there laughing a screen and moving my thumbs.
but then theres the times when i check my phone and theres no new messages......that always bothers me. im like, is everyone out there having fun without me? are they texting other people, not taking time to text me?
and so there i am, checking my phone every five minutes to see if theres any new messages...
seeing if theres anyone awesome enough to text me.
it drives me nuts :p
So in conclusion, when i go to the mall tomorrow im buying stuff.

you see, if i dont have $25 left over to pay my phone bill, i wont be able to pay it.
but if i do have $25 left, i will pay it. Which might be nice :) cause then when there's those time when my phone busts out of its battery's ill be happy.

First Blog Post
Sooo I'm blogging... My sister does it all the time, and i admire her for it. That's why i'm testing it out :p I'll probably forget about it...but then i can say at least I tryed.
I have really no idea what to type.....
ummmmmm. Weell blogs are for mostly personal use, so i can pretty much type whatever i want. but why would i put my thoughts on computer...maybe to save paper? thats a good reason....and i prefer typing to writing. I usually keep a journal of thoughts, and this is new.. so ill see how i like it :)
I've recently have become obsessed with Traveling. I wanna go everywhere. See all the things God has created. See all the wonders. i'm most obsessed with Paris, France at the moment. I'm crazy for it.
Another thing i favor is pandas. Ahhh the adorable, cute, fuzzy creatures. I want to hold and cuddle one soooo bad :). Hahaha i have recently had a dream i was a slave to beatiful people and they had a pet panda they were forced to keep and they made me feed it...it ended up attacking me, giving me huge gashes in my arms. But even after that i still wanna hold the dreamy thing.
Skydiving is a thing i dream of doing. That's pretty much all i can say about that :).
